Following an apprenticeship with the MoD in Electronic Engineering, Malcolm qualified as a Professional Technology Officer and worked on a number of Strategic Weapon System projects.

Moving to Jersey in 1996, Malcolm joined the States of Jersey (SoJ) IT department and in 2000 was given responsibility for the design, maintenance and management of the government websites and intranet.  When the SoJ consolidated their disparate departmental websites into a single site he led the team from sourcing to implementation. 

Malcolm has been working with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) since 2006 and attended the first publically available Administrators course.  He then went on to implement, configure and support the SoJ MOSS Infrastructure before joining the C5 Alliance team in October 2008.
